Mathematical modelling of transients in the electric drive of the turnout of the mono-sleeper type with switched-inductor motor

Introduction. The study is devoted to the development of functionality a railway track switch by introducing switched-inductor electric drive. This solution justifies simplifying mechanical part switches changing gearbox ball-screw and locating all kinematic line on mono-sleeper type. Goal. A turnout type behaviour meet modern traffic safety requirements improve operational reliability factors. Methodology. Based drive theory, mono-switch with nonlinear friction characteristic presented. Using differential equation theory Laplace transformation, mathematic description four-phase motor in single-mass electromechanical system has been made. simulation mathematical model as control was built MATLAB. Results. Simulation modelling gear developed implemented. Studies dynamics point movement have shown that, contrast motors used today, makes it possible simplify drive, which leads reduced time spent laying maintenance points, therefore design more reliable. application PID controller fuzzy speed improved point, while provides better performance set values movements.
